Percent Carnivore Recipes
Some proponents of the 100% carnivore diet claim that it can lead to improved digestion, reduced inflammation, increased energy levels, and weight loss.
On the other hand, following a 90% or 80% carnivore diet allows for some flexibility and may make it easier to maintain the diet long-term. These diets may still offer some of the benefits of a fully carnivorous diet, such as improved blood sugar control and weight loss, while also providing some essential nutrients from plant-based foods. Ultimately, the decision to follow a 100%, 90%, or 80% carnivore diet should be based on your preferences, health goals, and nutritional needs. |
100% Carnivore: No herbs, spices or sweeteners
For those of you with serious auto-immune issues or health problems, only strict carnivore will do. That means meat, fat, salt and water. But that doesn't mean your food has to be tasteless. |
90% Carnivore: May contain herbs, spices and sweeteners
The 90 percenters. This is where most carnivores end up. 90% animal foods and 10% plant foods. Plant foods might include some herbs and spices only or maybe even some fruit every now and then. We have a recipe for that. |
80% Carnivore: Contains herbs, spices, sweeteners and some plants.
The least strict of the carnivore diet community. 80% carnivore includes many more plant foods, fruits and side dishes that are definitely not strict carnivore. But at the carnivore diet coach, that's OK. We support you. |
