Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon lard or tallow
- 2 oz ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt
Directions
Prep Time: 4 minutes. Cook Time: 10 minutes. These portions create one serving.
- Heat the lard in a cast-iron skillet to medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook for 4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Brown the beef, and break up with a spoon while cooking.
- Remove beef from skillet, leaving the drippings.
- Crack 2 eggs into the skillet to cook in the beef drippings.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook on medium-low just until whites are set and yolks are soft.
- Add beef to a bowl and serve the fried eggs on top.
- Best served fresh.
