Beefy Fried Eggs Recipe

  • Calories: 327
  • Protein: 23g 
  • Fat: 25g 
  • Carbs: 1g

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon lard or tallow
  • 2 oz ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt

Directions

Prep Time: 4 minutes. Cook Time: 10 minutes. These portions create one serving.
  1. Heat the lard in a cast-iron skillet to medium heat. 
  2. Add the ground beef and cook for 4 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. Brown the beef, and break up with a spoon while cooking. 
  4. Remove beef from skillet, leaving the drippings.
  5. Crack 2 eggs into the skillet to cook in the beef drippings. 
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. 
  7. Cook on medium-low just until whites are set and yolks are soft.
  8. Add beef to a bowl and serve the fried eggs on top. 
  9. Best served fresh.
