Meet Your Coach
My name is Dan and due to a 10 year battle with chronic IBS, leaky gut, lethargy, muscle wasting and depression, I became an avid nutrition researcher and personal trainer in a quest to solve my autoimmune issues.
While I dedicated every spare minute of my day for more than 10 years to research, unfortunately, like most nutrition researchers, I followed the mainstream narrative for a very long time.
I knew something was wrong when the plant based agenda became more popular and thinking it would be a solution to my problems, I adopted a plant based lifestyle only to have my issues get significantly worse.
Naturally, if going in one direction makes things worse, it makes sense to go in the other direction, so I did. The results were shocking. In just one year of strict carnivore, I solved all of my issues and created a life for myself that I never thought possible.
Nowadays, I live in a completely off grid home where we raise our own chickens, breed fish and grow fruit trees. I like to spend my day training (usually twice per day), researching and writing for the multiple company websites I own.

I use carnivore regularly but I don't pretend it's the best diet for humans. Let's be real. It's an elimination diet. However, it's the most ancestrally consistent and nutritionally complete elimination diet and that's why it works so well.
I spend about half of the year eating strict carnivore and half of the year on an animal based diet that includes some low fiber seasonal fruits, because I believe that's how humans and most other animals eat, seasonally.
The Carnivore Diet Coach is my way of spreading the message and so far we've helped thousands of people change their lives for the better.
My approach is pretty simple, if you can give it away for free, then you should. Which is why all of the lessons on this site won't cost you a dime.

Our mission at The Carnivore Diet Coach is simple. We want to empower people with evidence based, scientific data about animal food production and consumption so that they can make better decisions for their health.
The world has gone processed food and vegan mad, and while we respect the plant based way of life for its ethics, we also believe that meat not only plays a vital role in human health and longevity, but it's also the only option for some people with negative reactions to plant based foods.
Something is wrong but nobody is talking about it. Every species on the planet instinctively knows what to eat. A lion doesn't have any dietary guidelines. Nor does a chimpanzee. Yet humans are being told exactly what to eat by marketers and those who follow the guidelines are getting sicker.
The Dietary Guidelines for Americans were implemented in 1980, not on the advice of scientists and nutritionist, but developed jointly by the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA). Or in other words, the people who profit from the sales of grains, seed oils and non animal foods.
The solution to all of these problems, according to the leading minds are to "eat less" fat, consume more highly profitable seed oils and if that doesn't work, you'll need expensive surgeries and/or subscription medications. It's clear to see that these are just band aids that don't address the route cause of the problems and may in fact be advice driven by profit.
The first step to solving any problem is to look at what solutions we have now and whether people are following them to see if they're working.
After all, maybe people just aren't following the dietary guidelines and that's why they're getting sick. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.
When people are asked to eat more vegetables, they do. Same for fruits, grains and vegetable oils. When people are asked to eat less red meat, they do. Same for eggs, whole milk, animal fats and butter.
In reality, it seems we do a really good job following the guidelines and yet we're still getting sick.
So the problem isn't that people don't follow the guidelines. It's something else.
At The Carnivore Diet Coach, we believe that the simplest way to solve a problem is to go back to how things were before the problems started occurring. A 'restore to previous version' for humans if you like.
We believe, like all animals, humans not only instinctively knew what to eat but they were shaped by their environment and their diet. After all, if there were no media and nobody to tell you what to eat, and the only foods available to you were local, natural and non processed, what would you eat?
To date, all of the anecdote and research suggests we became a primarily carnivorous species that uses plants during times of famine, for supplementation and medication. That means eating like our ancestors, more red meat, more animal fats, more eggs and plants in moderation.
