Did I mention my resting heartrate dropped to 38bpm at night when I was sleeping? This was the chronic phase that took 22months to heal.
The acute phase was terrible too and involved nightmares, hallucinations, insomnia, a racing pulse, headache, bloodspots under my skin and a feeling of death being near. (I did infact write a letter to tell my hubby what he needs to do should I die).
A doctor concluded (amongst other things) that my mitochondria was not functioning as they should, I experienced severe oxodative stress, my thyroid was affected and I had tons of nutritional deficiencies. I was in pain (Everywhere) my joints were popping and cracking like an 80 year old's. I gradually and naturally progressed from a plant based to a more meat and fat based diet and felt better daily.
WOW WOW WOW! The last 11 months I have been dirty carnivore ams strict cv for 2 of these and the gains I have felt and seen during this time is just indescribable. (Before 10months LCHF) will forever be grateful that God brought this WOE over my life.
All the symptoms mentioned have gone away, have not even had a sniffle in 2 years and I have even started Ice skating and working out. I started working out again seriously 2 months back and can not wait to see what great things awaits! Health feels WONDERFUL! Thanks Dr Baker, Saladino and all the other Carnivore docs!!! You guys rock!
Floxies sometimes struggle to heal. If you guys have tried everything else. This is something to look into guys!
However, I decided to try it last September because I couldn't get rid of my rashes, and inflammation in my joints and back was getting too much to deal with. I remembered reading how carnivore helped with inflammation and also naturally helped control appetite. I decided to give it a go.
Besides lower inflammation in my joints and back, my lifelong issue with rashes in random parts of my body has subsided, but the bonus is the depression and anxiety. I can't believe how it has changed my outlook on life. I am in sales and it has helped tremendously. I look forward to getting up every day and heading out the door. My confidence is higher, I don't stress eat anymore.
I have been strict carnivore for a year on the 24th of September. I am never going back. My life has been changed and I look forward to the future for the first time in over a decade. I will be 48 in 7 months. Life is good.
Binned ideas to work in an office as a functional medicine doctor for now (still studying) and ramped up my daily pain levels, and energy output.
Then went carnivore, inflammation dropped to almost zero, lost final 13kg, started running again for the first time in 17 years because my knees were healing so well.
Today I eat only meat (80% organic), drink san Pellegrino water and use copious amounts of quality salt (up to a tablespoon a day which stops muscle cramps, keeps energy high and aids healing but keep your water intake high!) and have a weekly work output most could never hope to keep up with, running rings around the young guys.
7 months later I have never felt clearer, happier or more determined.
Simplify it, we complicate shit as an excuse not to do the work. Understanding the complexities of life is not the same thing.
Comfort is a slow death.
