Michael McCain - Lost 89lbs

I thought it was time to share my progress to help someone else stay motivated. I am NOT close to my goal yet. However, I am closer then when I stressed the scale at 300 pounds. I knew that at the age of 46 if I didn't change my habits I might not live to see 60 or 70.

I started with intermittent fasting in January of 2018. Graduated to intermittent fasting and keto in March of 2018. I learned a big lesson while doing keto. My body does not do well with any type of plants or even minor carbs.

I would do good for 4 or 5 days in a row then I would end up on a major binge. I saw Dr. Baker on Joe Rogan last summer. Like everyone else, I thought that Dr. Baker had completely lost it.

However, I decided to try it last September because I couldn't get rid of my rashes, and inflammation in my joints and back was getting too much to deal with. I remembered reading how carnivore helped with inflammation and also naturally helped control appetite. I decided to give it a go.

Besides lower inflammation in my joints and back, my lifelong issue with rashes in random parts of my body has subsided, but the bonus is the depression and anxiety. I can't believe how it has changed my outlook on life. I am in sales and it has helped tremendously. I look forward to getting up every day and heading out the door. My confidence is higher, I don't stress eat anymore.

I have been strict carnivore for a year on the 24th of September. I am never going back. My life has been changed and I look forward to the future for the first time in over a decade. I will be 48 in 7 months. Life is good.
