Ingredients
- 2lbs (or 1kg) of 80/20 ground beef
- 2 cups (475ml) homemade beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- ¼ cup chili powder (if you like it spicy, add a little more)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ½ tablespoon black pepper
- ½ tablespoon paprika
- ½ tablespoon cayenne
Description
This is an easy one, especially if you need to “set it and forget it” until later or if you have people eating at different times in your household.
You may choose to include cheese or sour cream.
- Mix all ingredients into the slow cooker at the same time.
- Cook on high for 1 hour. Stir after one hour.
- Continue to cook on a high heat for 2 more hours or simmer low for 4-6 hours.
- Serve and enjoy.
